FOCUS_SWASH_1.1
Release of FOCUS_SWASH_1.1 (May-08-2003).
FOCUS_SWASH_1.1 is available and can be downloaded from the
FOCUS Surface Water website
Release notes
- FOCUS_SWASH_1.1 is the first release of SWASH.
- The FOCUS SWASH software package is distributed in Ms Access version 97. If a user has a newer version of Ms Access (e.g. version 2003), he can convert his database from Ms Access 97 to this newer version.
- The SWASH database is secured by a password to prevent users from messing up the database, thus causing a possibly incorrect behaviour of the SWASH User Interface
Warnings
- FOCUS_SWASH_1.1 cannot be used with non-English versions of Windows. The reason is that SWASH fails to update the PRZM project file (przm.prj) for non-English language Windows versions. This problem will be solved in the next release of SWASH. Up to then, the only solution is to use an English language version of Windows.
- After introducing a considerable number of substances or projects into the SWASH database, deleting some of these and next, re-creating some, error messages can occur (read PDF document here).
- The sequence of applications in the runs of a project can be sometimes mixed up, i.e. the application numbers (and corresponding rates) at the left-hand lower part of the Applications Form in SWASH as well as in the SWASH report were not in the correct order. This type of problem can be solved using the option ‘Compact Database and Repair Database’ when opening SWASH database in ACCESS. This will eliminate the problem with the database. Note that anyhow FOCUS_TOXSWA v2.2.1 checks the order and will stop and warn the user when the order is not correct.
- An error occurs assessments with a metabolite defined using the ‘Detailed’ option on the ‘Sorption’ tab page. SWASH does not transfer the correct Koc value. This bug will be solved in the next version.
