Support and registration
What should I do for support?
When you ask for support, we would like to have as much information as possible, because this will help us to solve the problem. The information will be treated confidentially. The following information is needed:
- Information about your hardware and system set-up. If you have problems with the user interface, information about the Windows version is needed.
- If you have questions about a SWASH project or runs within a SWASH project, we need the SWASH report file. The SWASH report file can be generated using the SWASH GUI.
- If an error message is shown on the screen, then a precise description of this message is needed. The error message helps us to identify the problem.

Where can I get SWASH?
There is only one place where you can get the FOCUS_SWASH model, i.e. the FOCUS website http://viso.ei.jrc.it/focus/sw. This site is maintained by the EU Joint Research Centre at Ispra (Italy). From this site you can obtain the approved versions of FOCUS simulation models. These models contain the FOCUS scenarios that are used to calculate the concentrations of plant protection products in groundwater and surface water in the EU review process according to Council Directive 91/414/EEC.
Can FOCUS_SWASH_1.1 be used on Windows Vista?
FOCUS_SWASH_1.1 cannot be run on Windows Vista. This issue will be solved in the next version.
